CATCH UP......

So I have kind of given up on this blog I know, it doesnt seem like such a big deal but it hasnt even crossed my mind to post something for forever. Life has been insane to say the least.
We moved into a new warehouse at work, Jared has been teaching seminary and a new baby is due November 28th....
We are expecting another girl and we are pretty set on the name Kobie Steele Green we just havent really decided on the spelling yet. Kobi with or without an e....Steel with or without an e?
Any suggestions?
Also our basement is finally finished!!!!! I might even post some pictures of that up, no promises though!
Cant wait for Mom dad Kar and Tan to come to Chicago next weekend!!!!

Im not sure what is going on lately but it seems as though life is just zooming right by. I wake up in the morning and before I know it im getting back in bed again. Lately I have been thinking does life slow down from here? I'm not sure it does, so Im trying to enjoy it while I can. Things have been going good down here! We are flying down to Beaverton next week and are so excited to spend Halloween with everyone!

27 is certainly a great age to celebrate! After all it is a lot cooler than 26 according to you, its the Hipper age. What a great year we had, definatly not the easiest year :) but so many great times. You are such a wonderful father and husband. You are the cool laid back character me and your fiery Rooster need. Agh, this is what we get to see every night after dinner...Its so beautiful here at Cape Kiwanda.
Rooster head is enjoying herself thoroughly, dealing with some teething issues, but she loves it here. The weather here is right up her alley, cool with a light breeze. It doesn't get much better than this.

This picture is to prove that I do brush Wrigleys hair, its just that by hour one of her being up it ends up cray again! I cant control it, but I do try!!!

This is Determined Lala... Latel she loves climbing stairs we just go up and down and up and down and up and down.. I can't wait for this stage of hers to be over!

Wrigley has figured out that I bring my purse around everywhere so she has started stashing her stuff in my purse. I have found this bottle of syrup in my bag about 5 times this weekend. She also puts her blankies, crackers, and toys in there, and of course binkies.

Im not being too creative with my words tonight, but i think these pictures say enough. wrigley has been loving the nudist life she literally screams when we try to put diapers and clothes on her. But we love her and shes great, and with a butt like hers who can blame her for wanting to show it off. we kept the nude pictures off this listing but we have plenty to blackmail her with in the future!

This Chicago Humidity is killing me...

Yup thats a wiggles DVD, and yup thats what shes watching.

According to my notes today is Father's Day. Does that mean I have to get something for Grandpa too? All these holidays, geez.

Wrigley and Bosco have a love hate relationship. Wrigley loves Bosco and Bosco could care less. So they decided to part ways and are going through a difficult custody battle.

Grandpa, are you in there? Its me wrigley!!!

Jared's proudest moment...Wrigley holding not 1 but 2 soccer balls. i think he thinks this increases her chances of being good at sports :) she is such a goof ball because she loves to walk around the house with lots of stuff. she stays busy...
She got some dr seuss books from the grahams, and although she is making a pretty disgusted face she loves books and already has bitten off a big chunk of this books cover, literally.

I love looking down to see my little munchkin looking up. She is so crazy and goofy but at the end of the day she is just a little sweetheart.

A little sloppy on the frosting I know but I ran out of time. Wrigley woke up from her nap and I needed to finish quick otherwise she would have been helping...

Oh, hey guys.
I thought Id start off with showing some of the final shots taken before bath time, I think she is shoving spaghetti up her nose in this one...

This is how it all started though. Things looked pretty
good at this point, I was even thinking I propably didnt even have to strip her down for this meal...
She started getting the hang of things...

Little spaghetti noodles are pretty tricky but she managed to get them everywhere. Behind her ears, in her ear, I even had to clean some out of her little but crack later in the tub???

Some food did make it into her mouth though.

A satisfied patron. And then it was off to the bathub. But first she decided to run away from me and catapult her face into my basket of freshly cleaned white clothes...Sorry Jared a lot of those shirts were yours...She also managed to destroy a few other things before I actually got her into the tub. We miss you Jare Jare, Wrigleys been Dadaing away today...

This morning I woke up feeling really not too great so Jared and I dediced I would go to work and he stay home with Wrigley so she wouldnt get sick from me. (This plan was foiled because wrigley is now sick, again: Runny nose, cough, fever, the works)
But before I left I put this scarf on Wrigley and she laughed and thought it was just the greatest thing ever.

Wrigley loves the computer and phone, its such a challenge being on the phone when she is around because she snatches it from me and closes it, hanging up on every call. Its not always the biggest deal except when I was on hold for 20 minutes with At&T this week and when I finally got someone on the phone Wrigley grabbed the phone unexpectedly and hung up!!! Needless to say she has really become quite a little munchkin. She just is so energetic and crazy, I just dont know where she gets it from :)

The last few weeks have been pretty tough here at the Green home. Between Wrigley being sick (not blaming anyone for this one...Jace... :), Wrigley teething and me being sick sleep has been scarce, very scarce and Baby motrin has been well utilized. But there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel: Wrigleys 2 top teeth have appeared and she only seems to be crabby from lack of sleep. I have to say though despite all the pain she has been experiencing she has been a little trooper.

We have been pretty delinquent I know but theres good reason, life has been a bit crazy and our camera was being fixed. Anyway big news update the roosterhead starting walking her record is 11 steps with 2 pauses. She is getting better and better everyday. I am going to try and upload the video of her walking next. She turns 9 months old on Tuesday...I cant believe it.

Wrigley learned how to wave on our way to Portland. She just started waving at Midway Airport 2 weeks ago. Sometimes her "wave" is more of a Hitlar Salute but she has good intentions.

The Jacester with Wrigley. Jace got his mission call this Christmas break to Porto, Portugal but isn't leaving until April 1st so he has been looking for a job to keep himself occupied.

Tan Man with "Zimbabawe" man she really loves Tan. This is kind of a goofy picture but we'll get Karli our official photographer to work on that one.

Our attempt to pose for a family picture but Wrigley Roo just wanted to give me "kisses" which is done by grabbing my face with a fierce like grip , pulling me towards her and slobbering/ biting my face. It's great :)

SO we havent gotten Wrigley a high chair yet so she has been eating on the coach in this position. She actually does very well at eating times. She is a great eater and sits really well these days. A few more days Grandma and Grandpa will be feeding her. :) We are so excited. I dont want to jinx it either but she has been down since 530 and hasnt gotten up yet :) Its 1230 right now !!!

She has also showed some other vampire like characteristics like an increased desire to bite or try to bite and suck on my face and shoulder. So Jared always tells me how I never take pictures (which I am not denying, side note) and never want to be in them and how we dont have any complete family picures blah blah blah. Truth be told I have always hated being in pictures I love taking pictures but dont really like being in them, so Wrigley has been helping me practice being in pictures so we can take some family pictures for the holiday. Lesson one: a natural smile. What do you think?

Hooray For the Weekend !!!

Yeah, its that time again...weekend, this is Wrigley's weekend face: what will she think of this weekend. Side note, today I had to take Wrigleys mobile out of her crib. It was time for her nap today so I fed her and put her in her crib. I assumed she was out because I didnt hear any crying. A few minutes later though I heard some squeels and not sleeping like activity. So I come in her room and noticed she was on completely opposite sides of the crib and she was arching her back and doing this jumping like action trying to grab the animals on her mibile. So yeah that nap never happened but her nap later on in the afternoon went much better without the influence of hanging animals over her head.

Wrigley's new favorite chew toy is a cake ice cream cone. SHe only sucks on it for a little while and the rest of the time is spent smashing the cone and making a big mess. When she is playing with something or concentrating on something she has her serious face on too. There's no time to play and fool around. She can be so intense sometimes.

Another Sunday with our little rOOster. We had such a fun day. Wrigley is just getting bigger and bigger and so much more alert and attentive. She started rolling over and even puts weight on her legs. Her favorite person in the whole world is her dad. I dont blame her though he always has somefun new game or trick. She just tracks him with her eyes all day long wondering what he is going to do next.

We were looking through some pictures of Wrigley and noticed something very disturbing. She inherited Jared's inability to make the Scout sign. I never knew this was a genetic disorder that could be passed down. But it seems like our future posterity is doomed !!! She doesn't seem to worried about it though. Girl Scouts here we come!
